Nana Kwame Bediako, widely recognized as Freedom, has stepped forward to cover the medical expenses for a young boy fighting cancer in Nandom, located in the Upper West Region. This compassionate gesture was made possible with support from Cheddar.
With the aid of Cheddar, the boy and his family were airlifted to the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital. At this medical facility, a crucial amputation procedure was performed to prevent the cancer from spreading further, ensuring the best possible chance for recovery.
Furthermore, as part of the comprehensive support, an electronic wheelchair has been provided to enhance the mobility of the young boy, contributing to an improved quality of life.
