Osman Zulqarnaian, a diligent and bright young man, has secured a sponsorship opportunity to pave the way for his tertiary education. This support comes after Osman’s inspiring story gained traction on the internet. According to his friend, Xavier Taylor, who shared the news on Facebook, Osman faced financial struggles throughout Junior High and Senior High School while working as a mechanic. In his own words, Osman expressed,
“I never chose my life; life chose me. I just have to focus on mechanics because I can’t afford tertiary education.”
Despite Osman’s remarkable achievement of scoring 8As in the 2023 WASSCE, he contemplated choosing mechanics over continuing his education due to financial constraints.
The Facebook post gained widespread attention, with many users sharing and expressing concern for Osman. Philanthropist Yammy Fingers took the initiative to share Osman’s story with the “TELL IT MOMS” Female Group, seeking support for the aspiring student. Fortunately, a generous individual came forward to assist Osman. This benefactor has committed to covering his school fees, as well as other necessities, including food.
Osman has already been provided with an admission form, and he has applied to the School of Medicine with aspirations of studying medicine and becoming a doctor in the future.
