Head pastor of Grace Mountain Ministry, Pastor Elvis Agyemang has donated relief items worth Ghc100,000 to people of Mepe in the Volta region who were affected by the Akosombo Dam spillage.
Pastor Elvis said he did not know about the situation until Nana Tea drew his attention to it. When he saw the damage the spillage had caused, he pledged to help the good people of Mepe.
Following his pledge, a delegation went to Mepe to present a truckload of relief items to the people on behalf of the man of God.
Food items, Mattresses, toiletries, exercise books, and many others were presented to the people. Lady Mercy, wife of pastor Elvis, led the delegation to donate the items to the people.
Member of Parliament for North Tongu, Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, received the items on behalf of his constituents and thanked the delegation and Ps. Elvis for their kindness and support.
Beneficiaries of this gesture could not hide their excitement. They were happy and expressed their gratitude to Lady Mercy and the entire delegation.
