In a world where acts of kindness and compassion can change lives, a recent donation to Korlebu Teaching Hospital and 37 Military Hospital kidney dialysis units by The Makers House Chapel International has brought hope to countless individuals battling kidney disease.
Both hospitals have received a total amount of Ghc 150,000 from the church to help cushion patients battling kidney disease financially.
Lady Yaa Achiaa Boadi, wife of Dr. Michael Boadi Nyamekye, the Founder and General Overseer of the church donated on behalf of the church as part of their corporate social responsibility.
Lady Achiaa revealed that they had had some encounters with the families of some kidney patients which moved them to offer the donation.
Dr Opoku Ware Ampomah, Chief Executive Officer of the Korlebu Teaching Hospital received the donation on behalf of the hospital and expressed his appreciation to the church and its leaders while Dr Louis Agyemang Siriboe, head of the renal unit at the 37 Military, also gratefully acknowledged the kind gesture from the church.
